It seems that Mark Baier over at Victoria Amps is going military on tube amps these days. The new VIC105 amp for 2010 is actually housed in a 50 caliber ammunition can.
The VIC105 is hand-wired and has switchable single/dual EL84 output tubes. The switch toggles between single-ended and push pull operation.
It also has a boost switch with tuning control and 4,8,16 ohm outputs for driving many different cabinets. Tube compliment is 1-EZ81, 2-EL84’s and 1- 12AX7.I heard the expression “going green” but I’m thinking this is a little different…. This amp looks like something out of “The Dirty Dozen” or “Kelly’s Heroes”. Like.
