Hey all. Please welcome a new Guest Guru here to 300guitars. His name is Steve Casper of Casper Guitar Technologies. Steve builds some fine guitars down there in Florida. He specializes in bolt-on style models and crafts everything himself including his single coil pickups..!!
What’s even more interesting and impressive is that Steve is building his guitars as “green” as possible. What this means is that throughout the entire building process he is very conscious of the environment and tries not to have a negative impact on it. Steve himself will tell you he’s not exactly a “tree hugger” but is dedicated to doing his part for the ecosystem. So, not only are his guitars awesome his shop recycles, is set up with solar power and only uses wood that complies with the guidelines set up by the Forest Stewardship Council….take that Henry..!!
I thought it would be a great idea for Steve to share some of his “green” guitar building techniques with us and how they apply to his guitars. After all…guitarists should do their part to help save the planet too!”
