The GM10 solves that problem by incorporating the world’s smallest gold sputtered mylar capsule along with a proprietary shock mount assembly built into the capsule head. A universal clamping system mounts on any flat backed acoustic guitar so the microphone is fixed take after take from exactly the same position.
