I do get some emails about making slots in tune-o-matic bridge saddles. Most of the questions are whether or not they are needed and the rest are how do you make the slots in a brand new blank saddle.
Here is a cool article from the Stewart MacDonald website. Eric Cloeman takes you through it step by step and shows you how it’s done. I do this procedure basically the same way but do not have all the specific tools that Eric uses.
