Ralph Ciociano and Flying V It’s a guitar that would dwarf even basketball giants like Shaq or Yao Ming. But that doesn’t stop Ralph Ciociano of the tiny Guitar Shack in Port Jefferson, New York from occasionally dragging, lifting, and toting his humongous, hand-built replica of a Flying V down to Manhattan’s Times Square to boggle the minds of a few passing tourists. The gigantic model of Gibson’s ’50s classic took six months to fabricate, and is billed as the world’s largest playable guitar-but good luck with those bar chords!
