Sean over at Lovepedal had done it again. Here is a new overdrive pedal he is calling the 8823. The 8823 is a “high headroom” type of overdrive pedal. It incorporates a custom IC which starts to overdrive at very high levels. The sustain is increased because of this and it maintains a low noise floor while increasing the gain knob.
There is also the patented X2 TM “tone control” which interacts incredibly well in conjunction with the gain knob.
I have sampled a few of Sean’s Lovepedals and they are excellent in both build quality and sound. But the best thing about the Lovepedals is that they “feel” good. They are very dynamic and you don’t realize you are playing through a pedal.
