SoZo capacitors are now available from Amplified Parts! These are great capacitors for amplifier upgrades and custom builds.They are successful recreations of the originals, superbly built and excellent-sounding caps. When one considers the audio signal passes through as many as ten capacitors before exiting the amplifier, you can see how these components play an extremely large role in the tone of the amplifier.
I have personally used thee over the years for repairs, restorations and custom builds with excellent results. Another benefit is that they are not very expensive so outfitting an amp with a set of SoZo caps won’t break the bank. I’ve used the yellow “mustard” series in British type amps and the blue series in American type amps. Of course you could use either series capacitor for any amp. Since they are reasonably priced you could experiment and see what sounds best to you.
