The part you mark your settings on is white so you can clearly see where each and every knob should set. No more smudging or accidentally wiping off settings! The sticker material is a sort of vinyl and not paper which makes the sticker more durable but also cleaner and easier to remove should you ever want t0 change the settings or sell the pedal.
There are a bunch of brand specific stickers such as “Ibanez 4 Knob”, “Boss 3 Knob”, “MXR Wide 2 Knob” among many others.
