I made a post a few weeks back about this product called Gorgomyte. Just to recap, Gorgomyte is a fret cleaner and fretboard conditioner. The product is basically a chamois-like cloth treated with a special chemical that does all the cleaning and conditioning. It’s really easy to use, safe for all types of fretboards and leaves your guitar’s fretboard looking and feeling really great.
So after my man Alan Gowa (the bass player in my band the Inside Drivers) told me about Gorgomyte I figured I’d give it a shot. I am always curious about practical products and tools to help save time in the shop or do the job better.
Well, I have to say that Gorgomyte really works! I was pleasantly surprised at the results and how little effort it took. The fretboards I cleaned and conditioned looked and felt great. I am now incorporating Gorgomyte into all guitar set-ups in my 300guitars Shop and I mention it in my Guitar Set Up Guide. I highly recommend using Gorgomyte a few times per year on your guitars fretboard. It will keep it clean and feeling great!!
