Gibson Raided By The Feds, Again

This law protects endangered species which includes (you guessed it) wood. This law is apparently retroactive so it is being advised that guitar players to be wary of traveling abroad with old guitars, because the law says owners can be asked to account for every wooden part of their guitars when re-entering the U.S. The law also covers the trade in vintage instruments. I am very interested to see how this all plays out and if the U.S. Government is going to start confiscating guitars right out of the players hands. I cannot see how an end user can be held accountable for the manufacturers negligence (if any). To be continued…..
