The new MOD 102 tube guitar amp kit is great for a first time build. All the necessary components are provided as well as in depth, easy to follow instructions. Some features include Volume, Bass, Treble controls, a single 12AX7 and cathode biased class A EL84 tube, about 5 watts output @ 8 ohms, Hammond transformers, pre-punched steel chassis and point to point hand wiring using terminal strips. There are tips in the instructions as well as online technical support. Could be a great spring project….!
