Loni Specter the founder of The Amp Show sent me a link to this video. This is the Two Notes Audio Engineering Torpedo. It looks like a cool piece of gear. Pretty high tech for a guy like me but I can see how it would be very useful. Basically it is a rack unit that replaces your speaker for your amp and there are about 16 “virtual” speaker cabinets to choose from. Then you can select a “virtual” mic, set it’s placement and choose the room. There are digitial outputs for direct recording. Works great for bass as well. The guy narrating is Sir Paul McCartney’s engineer and he takes you through the features and functions one by one. I hope I get to check one out some day..!!
