New Maxon SM-9 Super Metal and ST-9 Super Tube Pedals are being released by Godlyke, Inc. These two pedals were introduced in the early1980’s and are in demand by players. They are now available with improved circuitry and features such as true bypass switching.
Some features include: Easy-access, no tools battery compartment, die cast zinc chassis, Rubber bottom pad, AC/DC power operation (9-volt battery or 9-volt power adapter, LED status/battery life indicator, True Bypass switching using 4PDT switch and a 3-year warranty.
SM-9 Pro+ Super Metal Distortion produces a wide variety of high-gain guitar tones including the classic 1980’s “scooped midrange” sound to the huge low-end drop-tuned sounds of modern metal. The SM-9 can actually be switched between 9 or 18 volt operation because it has an internal voltage-doubling circuit. 18 volt operation is stabilized and provides improved frequency response and less compression than 9 volt operation.
ST-9 Pro+ Super Tube Overdrive – This pedal is based on the classic Maxon “808” circuit. Some new features include separate mid control, a switch to select from two different type diodes, and switchable 9 or 18 volt operation from an internal voltage-doubling circuit. 18-volt operation is stabilized and provides improved frequency response and less compression than 9 volt operation.
