Friends, let me tell you that this is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. This brand new site called Buildajam.com is where you can be in a band online and never leave your house! You can jam and build songs and even do an entire album online with musicians from all over the world. This is great for young players getting started who cannot drive and for older, busier folks who cannot get out too often and make a commitment to a band.
I spoke to Dan Buzy the creator of Buildajam at the Great American Guitar show and he told me that Buildajam is a labor of love that took him about 2 years to complete! Talk about dedication and believing in your dreams! He has a bunch of cool things planned for members as well as the site so I suggest heading over there and joining asap. I signed myself up right there at the show and cannot wait to join a band! Anyone need a rockabilly player over there???
