What they do is take your Les Paul guitar and transform it into a highly accurate and detailed reproduction of an original. Some details include replacing the truss rod with a correct 50’s type, replacing the trapazoid inlays with correct shape and material (cellulose nitrate from the original manufacturer), reshaping of the neck for the correct 50’s feel, complete refinishing with nitrocellulose lacquer and distressing of the lacquer for an authentic aged look.
