The Ventures will be inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in a ceremony that will be held in the Ballroom of The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 PM on Monday, March 10. The event will be televised live on VH-1 Classic. It will also be recorded for broadcast at later dates. You are advised to check your local programming guide, for information on broadcast times and channels in your local area.The Ventures are famous for their surf-rock guitar driven instrumentals of the 1960’s. Their famous hits “Walk Don’t Run” and “Pipeline” have been covered by many bands throughout the decades.
It has also been announced that John Fogerty will introduce the band at the ceremony.
