Seems every now and then when I hit a Bb, low E @ 6th fret or A, 5th fret, I get a buzz from my Deluxe Reverb RI or, in the case of Bb, a rising fizz and sizzle. Not all the time, especially since I had the GTs pulled and JJs put in. This is kinda weird. What could be happening?

I have actually heard of other players complaining about similar buzzes and rattles with the DRRI amp. I would try to tighten the speaker, not too much though and also tighten the baffle. Also check to see if the chassis is tight. I had a similar experience with a silverface Vibrolux Reverb and it was the chassis that was a little loose and made the noise. You may want to loosen the chassis and shift it around a bit and then re-tighten. Another thing to check is the speaker itself. Try an external speaker and see if the problem clears up. Certain frequencies affect amps (combos especially) in different ways. I hope this helps!!

Thanks, it comes and goes.
Somedays nothing. Tonight, all of a sudden, it's back! Maybe temp, humidity have something to do with it as well. Humbuckers, DRRI vol 2, channel 2, reverb 2.

Did you try the things that I suggested? Tightening the speaker, baffle and the chassis? Do you take the amp out and transport it alot?

I am just a home player, so it sits here at vol 2.
Checked the screws, chassis, baffle, speaker nuts.
Again, this is intermittent… can go months w/o buzz and then it is there. I am thinking frequencies, cabinet, temp and humidity. Although, I did heare of one amp tech describe combos as a “torture chamber for tubes”.
